N01 - BIM Coordination

Giới thiệu chung

BIM Coordination (Multidisciplinary Spatial Coordination). In a real-world project environment, controlling the intersections between Architecture, Structure, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) using traditional 2D drawings or Xrefs never guarantees absolute accuracy. The inevitable consequence is the risk of physical conflicts, causing delays and incurring direct on-site remediation costs. BIM Coordination thoroughly addresses this problem by integrating component models into a common environment (Federated Model). This process delivers two core values: 1- Clash Detection: Applying specialized software algorithms to review, automatically detect, and accurately locate physical intersections (Hard Clash) and clearance violations right from the design phase. 2. Issue Management: Establish a process for extracting Clash Reports and tightly manage the feedback system (Comments). This allows us to assign tasks, track progress, and transparently synchronize revised data between disciplines through shared work platforms. For an architect, mastering BIM Coordination goes beyond simply operating the software. It involves risk management, quality control of documentation, protection of design spaces, and making optimal technical decisions before any construction work begins. We will now delve into the technical details of this process.
